Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours: minimum temperatures fell appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably below normal in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, below normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 4°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of 23rd Feb: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 23: Mainly clear sky. Sunny day. Minimum temperature will be around 9°C.

Farmers weather bulletin: Sky will be mainly clear.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Not much change.
