Ranga's Toon Tales

Nursultan Nazarbayev

"DO I look like this? No, No ......... I need an exact one", uttered President of Kazakstan Nursultan Nazarbayev when I showed this sketch. In the few minutes were left for him to leave Rajghat where he had gone to pay homage to the Father of Nation. I hurriedly set out to make another drawing to please the head of state.

To my luck it turned out to be good and the President was immensely pleased because the sketch had been made hurriedly and was to his satisfaction.

This was my second experience with a head of state. Previously I had drawn another head of state of a country which was part of the erstwhile Soviet Union. President Nazarbayev obliged me with his signature on the sketch and took a similar sketch back home.
