Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: minimum temperatures changed a little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana ad normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 5°C recorded at Adampur.

Forecast valid until the morning of December 25: Rain or snow will occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and north Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 25: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery development or light rain in some areas towards Tuesday afternoon. Mist or fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 10°C.
