MDU convocation on Jan 16

The eleventh convocation of Maharshi Dayanand University will be held on January 16, 2003. The Registrar, Dr A. K. Rajan, said that a compulsory rehearsal for the convocation would be held on January 15.

The candidates, who are to attend the convocation for conferment of degrees/medals, are being informed separately. Those candidates who confirmed their attendance at the convocation by January 6 would be allowed to attend the ceremony for conferment of degrees/medals as per the decisions and norms of the university, he said.

The Controller of Examinations, Dr K. C. Bhardwaj, said that the supplementary examinations of MA/MSc/MCom (final) and MEd classes of Maharshi Dayanand University would commence from December 21. The roll numbers of all eligible candidates had been despatched by the university.

Dr Bhardwaj said that the roll numbers of candidates who are fee-defaulters, had been detained and all such candidates had been informed. Such candidates, he said, could get their roll numbers personally on any working day after depositing the balance fee.

Any eligible candidate who had not received the roll number may contact the result branch concerned for duplicate the roll number. Such candidates, he said, should pay a fee of Rs 50 and bring duly attested photograph and collect the roll number.
