Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Punjab, rose in west Rajasthan and changed a little elsewhere.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.2°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 14: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in south-east Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 14: Mainly clear sky. Fog or mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 6°C.
