Cricket Samrat celebrates golden jubilee New Delhi, October 28 Mr Jaitley, a former Union Law Minister, said the Indian cricket team was shaping up well and have the right credentials to win the cup for the second time. Kapil's Devils had first lifted the World Cup in 1983, defeating the mighty West Indies in the final. Mr Jaitley said this while giving away mementoes to well-known cricketers and cricket officials at the silver jubilee function of leading Hindi cricket magazine "Cricket Samrat". "The performance of the Indian team, especially during the past couple of months, has lifted the spirits of the players and boosted India's chances to win the cup", Mr Jaitley said. J K Tyre National Karting Young karting enthusiasts of Mumbai put on display their driving skills when they set the tracks on blaze in the Mumbai finals of the JK Tyre National Karting Championship, which concluded at the Hakone go-karting venue, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai. Jigar Muni and Ashok Jadhav have qualified to represent Mumbai in the grand finale of the championship to be held on December 15. Mumbai had won the title during the last two editions of the championship. The JK Tyre National Karting Championship, now into its third year, has earned the credit of being a prestigious motorsport event.
