Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh.Weather was mainly dry in east Uttar Pradesh. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Delhi Ridge 2, Himachal Pradesh: Shimla 4, Dadahu, Nahan, Nagrotasurian and Una 3 each, Dehragopipur, Kandaghat and Pasonta 2 each, Barsar, Ghamroor, Kumarsain, Sujanpurtira and Sarkaghat 1 each, Punjab: Gurdaspur 3, east Rajasthan: Somkamla Amba 3, Dungla, Dariawad, Gadola and Vagandam 2 each, Arnod, Bhainsroadgarh, Bijolia, Mandal, Udaipur A P and Vallabhnagar 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Hindon 1 and Uttaranchal: Dehradun 3 and Banbasa, Rudra-Prayag and Uttarkashi 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 28: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Rajasthan.
