Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Ambala 4; east Rajasthan: Jhodal 5, Aklera, Angera, Barei, Bhimsagar, Bhopalsagar, Cholidam, Kapasan and Rajsamand 3 each, Badgaon, Chikanwas, Dungla, Manohar Thana and Sandeser 2 each and Baran, Badesar, Indergarh, Nandsamand and Rasmi 1 each; west Rajasthan: West Banas 6, Bakalidam 3, Sahidam 2 and Hemawas and Raipurluni 1 each; and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 5.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 4: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 4: Generally cloudy sky, with possibility of rain or thundershowers in some areas.
