Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have been reported at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms. are: Himachal Pradesh: Kangra 1, east Uttar Pradesh: Ayodhya 3, Chandradeepghat 2 and Bansi, Balrampur and Elginbridge 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Auraya and Mohana 1 each and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 2.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 28: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in Rajasthan.
