Punjab, UP New Delhi, June 22 Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.4°C recorded at Nal airport
(Bikaner, Rajasthan). Forecast valid until the morning of June 24: Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Punjab, East Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, East Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh. Isolated dust storms or thunderstorms are likely in West Rajasthan. Isolated thundersqualls are also likely to occur in Haryana, Punjab and Uttaranchal.
