Spiderman, Spiderman,
Does whatever a spider can…

An elderly man sits near a poster promoting the movie Spiderman in New Delhi. The movie opened in Indian theatres across the nation on Friday.

THROUGH the years, Spiderman has also been a superpower in the world of comics, appearing in paperback books, on posters, as an action figure and in video games. It was on the pages of Amazing Fantasy where the amazing Spiderman first appeared. In March 1963, one year after his first appearance, Spiderman was starring in his own comic book and on his way to become most popular superhero ever. In addition to his other ventures, Spiderman has now also captured sliver screen audiences.
