Pawar. The said affidavit was further witnessed by Mr Dalip Singh Bhatia, a city-based advocate and the Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Mr Baldev Singh, VPO Sahibana, that Jagser Singh was ready to donate his kidney to Sukhdev Singh without any consideration. He was permitted by the committee to donate his kidney but when the committee received a letter from the state government that police inquiry should be conducted to know the factual position, the committee suspended its permission and asked the recipient to contact the Chairman of the committee. The police after verification, informed the chairman of the committee on January 31, 2000, that particulars of Jagser Singh (the donor) were correct and only after thorough investigations, the chairman of the committee renewed the necessary permission. |
