11 Indians killed
Dubai, May 5
Eleven Indians were among 12 persons killed and 17 others were injured when the mini-bus they were travelling in collided head-on with a trailer at a junction in Subhan, south of Kuwait city, reports here said today. The accident took place when the passengers were travelling home from work yesterday. Many of the killed hailed from Kerala, the Malayalam news here said. PTI

Fire at reserve
Jaipur, May 5
Nearly seven hectares of the Keoladeo Ghana Wetland Reserve in Bharatpur were destroyed in a fire which broke out last night, park sources said today. The fire broke out just behind the Shanti Kutir, the forest lodge, inside the 28.7 sq-km world heritage site. UNI
