135 Maoists shot
Kathmandu, May 3
At least 135 Maoist rebels were killed when the Nepalese security forces stormed two guerrilla training camps, a Home Ministry official said today. “More than 100” of the rebels were shot dead yesterday in the Lisne area of Rolpa, some 298 km west of Kathmandu. Another 35 rebels were killed in a clash at Boktang in Doti district, 398 km west of the capital, he said.
