An estimated 250,000 people lined the streets of London on Friday to watch the military procession bearing the Queen Mother's coffin to the medieval Westminster Hall, where the icon of Britain's war years will lie in state for four days. Her funeral will take place on April 9, after which she will be interred at St George's Chapel in Windsor next to her late husband King George VI.
