PTA Lakshya test-flown
Balasore (Orissa), March 25
The country’s defence aircraft development programme got a boost today when the indigenous pilotless target aircraft (PTA) “Lakshya” was successfully test-flown with a new engine from the interim test range at Chandipur-on-Sea. Official sources said the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was test-flown at 1100 hours, official sources said. PTI

Blast in Nepal daily’s office
Kathmandu, March 25
A powerful explosion, suspected to have been triggered by Maoist rebels today, ripped through a building here housing offices of two major government dailies, causing damage, but no casualty. Six persons have been taken into custody in connection with the blast which shook the building of Nepal’s oldest publication house. PTI
