Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Bhuntar (Himachal Pradesh) recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Punjab and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 8.4°C recorded at Ludhiana (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 20: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 20: Mainly clear sky. Mist/fog in morning. Minimum temperature will be around 11°C.
