Healing Ministry Week begins
Our Correspondent

Ludhiana, February 7
According to Mr Emanuel, secretary, North West Region Christian Medical Association of India, said that the second week of February was specially dedicated to the healing of the people who were sick. In Christian perspective, it was the undertaking of commitment with God to serve people and strive better and better to serve the needy. During this week, a concerted campaign was carried across all the churches in India.

This Ministry of Healing has been working since 1905. Every year it chooses a different theme. The theme chosen this year is “in the footsteps of Jesus — the divine healer”. For 10 minutes during the service in the churches, a special prayer is made for doctors and health workers to make them more compassionate and understand the suffering of humanity and give their help freely.
