likely in HP New Delhi, February 6 Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose markedly in east Uttar Pradesh, rose in Haryana and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 3.0°C recorded at Pilani (Rajasthan). Forecast valid until the morning of February 8: Rain or snow will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana and east Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan. Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.
