Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Punjab, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are — Himachal Pradesh: Guler and Sunibhaji 2 each and Bhuntar, Kangra, Nagrotasurian and Pandoh 1 each; Jammu and Kashmir: Banihal, Batote, Pahalgam and Quazigund 1 each; Punjab: Mukerian 1, east Uttar Pradesh: Khadda, Mirzapur and Sultanpur 3 each and Birdghat, Chhatnag and Shardanagar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 14: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir with isolated light snowfall over higher reaches. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan.
