The police here today arrested two militants belonging to a group, allegedly involved in a number of disruptive incidents in the country, and recovered a big haul of arms and ammunition, including RDX, rocket launchers and remote control panels from them. Bandh hits life in N-E region

The Naga Students Federation (NSF)-sponsored 24-hour bandh in protest against the review of the ceasefire by the Centre affected life in the Naga-inhabited areas of the North-Eastern region today, while some miscreants went on a rampage last night damaging 40 Manipur-bound trucks. UNI
