Monsoon has been active in east Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Haryana. Weather was dry in west Rajasthan.

The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Thanesar 2 and Narwana 1, Himachal Pradesh: Guler and Kangra 1 each; Jammu and Kashmir: Quazigund 3, Kupwara and Pahalgam 2 each and Kathua 1; Punjab: Adampur 11, Batala 4 and Nangal 2; east Rajasthan: Bari 9, Urmil Sagar 5, Rupwas 4, Bare, Mahuwa, Savelhed, Talabshahi and Uchen 3 each, Ajan, Baseri, Bandikui, Busawar, Bayana, Dholpur and Kishangarh Vas 2 each and Bansur, Hindon, Kota, Lalsot, Mandawar and Rajgarh 1 each; east Uttar Pradesh: Balrampur 18, Birdghat 16, Kakardharighat 12, Turtipar 10, Chillaghat 9, Basti 8, Bansi 7, Auriya, Fatehgarh, Gorakhpur and Kakrahi 6 each, Etawah, Kanpur, Katerniaghat and Mukhlispur 5 each, Palliakalan 4, Bahraich, Ghazipur and Lucknow 3 each, Bhatpurwaghat and Sultanpur 2 each and Hanumansetu and Jaunpur 1 each; west Uttar Pradesh: Moradabad 5, Bareilly 3 each and Dabri 2; and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 7, Pantnagar 3, Dehra Dun 2 and Hardwar 1.
