Monsoon has been vigorous in east Rajasthan and active in Himachal Pradesh.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have been reported at most places in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan, at many places in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Panipat 4 and New Delhi (Palam) 1, Himachal Pradesh: Baijnath 10, Kangra 9, Barsar 8, Bhuntar and Kataula 5 each, Pandoh 4, Gohar 3, Jubbal, Sujanpur Tira and Sunnibhaji 2 each and kasol, Kotkhai, Rampur Bushar, sundernagar and Shimla 1 each Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 3 and Katra 2, Punjab: Kharar 1, east Rajasthan: Jaipur 16, Chhapidam 11, Rahuwas 10, Karauli 8, Gangapur city, Kanauta and Sawai Madhopur 6 each, Asnapur, Patan and Rajpur (Jhalawar) 5 each, Bisalpur, Lalsot, Muraldam and Rajakhera 4 each, Bhimsagar, Chawlidam, Jaswantpura, Kota, Kamgar Shekhawati and Pachnadam 3 each, Ajmer and Bandikui 2 each and Dumla 1, west Rajasthan: Churu and Jodhpur 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Mirjapur 4, Fatehgarh 3, Banda 2 and Auraiya, Ankinghat, Bhatpurwaghat, Chillaghat, Dalmau, Etawah, Mohana and Raebareli 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Jhansi 3 and Mathura and Moradabad 1 each, Uttaranchal:Uttarkashi 7, Nawgaon 5, Bausan 4, Dehra Dun, Joshimath and Rudraparyag 2 each and Tehri 1.
