Monsoon has been active in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, east Uttar Prasdesh and Uttaranchal, at many places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Nilokheri and Thanesar 7 each, Chhachhrauli 5, Jagadhari 3, Ambala, Chandigarh and Guhla 2 each and Kaithal 1, Himachal Pradesh: Jogindernagar and Paonta 12 each, Nahan 11, Jubbal 5, Sundernagar and Sunibhajji 3 each, Bangana, Dharampur, Gohar, Kasol, Manali, Nadaun,Shimla and Una 2 each and Bhuntar, Bharwain, Ghamroor, Kahu, Kasauli, Kumar Sain, Pandoh and Rampur Bushar 1 each. Jammu and Kashmir: Pahalgam 3 each and Batote and Jammu 1 each. Punjab: Mukerian 9, Amritsar, Adampur, Nangal and Patti 3 each, gurdaspur and Nawanshahr 2 each and Batala, Balachaur, Dasuya, Ludhiana and Ropar 1 each. East Rajasthan: Jhakham Dam 2 and Gandolla, Nasirabad, Pratapgarh and Tatgarh 1 each.
