Cabinet Secy gets extension

Cabinet Secretary T. R. Prasad, who was to retire at the end of this month, is to continue in his post till October 31 next year. The extension of the service of Mr Prasad in “public interest” under Section 16(1) (1A) of the All India Services (death-cum-retirement benefits) Rules, 1958, has been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
