Three hurt in Kanpur blast
Kanpur, July 3
Three persons were injured when a bomb hurled on a shop exploded in Gwaltoli police circle here today, the police said. Two youths, when they were denied iron rods by a welding shopkeeper, later came with two others and threw a crude bomb at the shop, which exploded, injuring three persons, including the shopkeeper. 10 youths rescued from militants
Jammu, July 3
In a major breakthrough, the Army and the Police rescued 10 youths, who were being forcibly taken across for training, from the cluthches of militants in Kishtwar area of Doda district today. The security forces successfully apprehended Mohd Yusuf Sheikh and an accompanying youth from a civil bus at a vehicle checkpost established by the Army. On interrogation, it was revealed that he was taking a youth accompanying him for forcible recruitment into LeT cadre. In a simultaneously conducted raid, nine teenagers were rescued. PTI
