HELLO kids and welcome to our weekly kids chat!

Cliparti: This is the best time of the year. With so much time at hand we really can do whatever we like.

Windy: Yes, like I can sleep late, get up late and follow no rules.

Cliparti: What I meant was that you can do things that you generally don’t get time for during the schooldays.

Windy: Yes, I really don’t get time to sleep long hours during the schooldays.

Cliparti: Okay, but there must be some other things too.

Windy: Hmm let me see! Yes, I don’t get enough entertainment during the schooldays.

Cliparti: Okay, so what kind of entertainment do you like?

Windy: Well, like listening to music, watching videos etc.

Cliparti: Entertainment for me would be watching cartoons, television, movies and playing video games.

Cliparti: And for me it would be creating new things or reading storybooks. So I think we should be doing such kind of things.

Windy: Talking about books, even I would like to read something on science like anatomy or astronomy.

Cliparti: www.4kids.com/4kidshome.html is one such wonderful site that will solve most of our problems .It has cartoons, movies, music, television, video games, lots of reading material be it interactive books, online books or books on anatomy, animals, chemistry, environment or geography.

Fluppy: Wow! This seems to take care of at least my entertainment.

Cliparti: One good site for music, especially for children’s music and audio entertainment is www.blanketkid.com. You can find tapes and CDs, information on events, reviews and contact information on it.

Windy: Thanks Cliparti. Its really nice of you to tell us of these wonderful sites .Now let me tell you of a site of your interest.

Windy: You are right for a change, Fluppy. There are DLTK’s excellent printable crafts for kids at dltk.kids.com. Cliparti it will give you loads of ideas to choose from. It features a variety of fun children’s crafts, animal crafts, miscellaneous crafts, countries and cultures, favourite friends, number buddies, holiday crafts and printable greeting cards.

Fluppy: It seems to have everything that Cliparti would like.

Windy: It also has something that you would like.
Fluppy: Me? Sorry, I am not too fond of so-called "creating" things.

Windy: If I am not mistaken, you are fond of colouring pages and especially if they are some of your favourite cartoon characters.

Fluppy: Wow! It has that too?

Windy: Yes, and lots more.

Fluppy: What’s that?

Windy: For example, have you heard about the latest kinds of parties people, children and grown-ups have?

Fluppy: Yeah, I know. You are talking of theme parties. Right?

Windy: Right!

Fluppy: What is a theme party?

Windy: Well, in theme party the host chooses a theme and informs all his guests about it. Then all his guests have to come dressed up according to the theme. They also get their presents according to the theme .The host also has to do up the decors, select the party wares, the food, the music and dance numbers according to the theme selected.

Fluppy: Wow! It must be fun but it is such a tedious task selecting such things.

Windy: Yes, but don’t worry. You will find links to these party-solvers here. For any kinds of parties, birthday, anniversary, baby showers, religious occasion or simply no occasion party your solution lies here.

Fluppy: I would love to have such a professional party for my birthday.

Cliparti: Go and try to sell this idea to your mom.

Fluppy: Now that is the most difficult part of the whole story. How I wish there would be some site that would teach me to convince my mother. Hey Windy, are you aware of any such site?
