"NO, no...what are you doing? This is not the way you should draw the Prime Minister... You can’t put an iron in her hand..." So yelled a security guard sitting by my side as I was drawing Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister, at her Press conference at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.

Unmindful of his remarks, I completed the picture and as the Press conference came to a close, I rushed to her (before the security staff could stop me) to get her signature on it. She saw the picture and for a moment she appeared to be puzzled. She took a few minutes to decide. She then asked me for my pen and placed her signature on it, much to the annoyance of the security man who was preventing me from drawing as Iliked.
