Arrest warrant against ex-CM
Mumbai, April 21
A local court has issued an arrest warrant against Shiv Sena leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane for his alleged derogatory remarks against Samajwadi Party leader Abu Asim Azmi. The warrant, which is bailable, is returnable on July 26. Mr Azmi had filed a criminal suit against Mr Rane last year for accusing him of having links with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. PTI

Chandigarh, April 21
The Indian Airlines has rescheduled its Delhi-Chandigarh-Amritsar-Delhi flight operating every Thursday, Mr B.P. Nautiyal, Station Manager of the airlines, said today. According to the revised schedule, the flight — CD 7485 — would arrive here at 12.10 p.m. and take off for Amritsar at 12.45 p.m. to reach Delhi at 2.50 p.m. TNS

13 die in mishap
Ranebennur, April 21
Thirteen persons were killed and eight injured as the van in which they were travelling collided with a lorry near Ranebennur in Karnataka’s Haveri district today, the police said. PTI
