Haryana, Punjab New Delhi, April 9 Temperature: past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Haryana, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were largely above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, markedly above normal in Rajasthan and appreciably above normal in rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 42.9°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan). Forecast valid until the morning of 11th: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal.
