Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Patsio (Himachal Pradesh) recorded 2 cm of snow.

Temperature: past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Haryana, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were largely above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, markedly above normal in Rajasthan and appreciably above normal in rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 42.9°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of 11th: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers accompanied with squall are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and east Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 11th: Mainly clear sky with possibility of thundery clouds accompanied with a squall by tomorrow evening. Maximum temperature will be around 39°C.
