Maximum temperatures rose in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, west Rajasthan west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departures:

The highest temperature in the region was 39.7°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).
