Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry in the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. 

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably below normal in Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.3°C recorded at Barmet (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of 4th: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Farmers’ weather bulletin for Delhi: Forecast valid until the morning of 4th: Sky will be mainly clear.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
