Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Pahalgam (Jammu and Kashmir) recorded 1 cm of rainfall. Snowfall report (in cm): Himachal Pradesh: Dhundi 10 and Patsio 5.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan, rose in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana, Punjab and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 8.6°C recorded at Narnaul (Haryana).

Forecast valid until the morning of 25th: Rain or snow will occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 25th: Partly cloudy sky with thundery development and light rain in some areas. No significant change in minimum temperature.
