Rain, snow likely in J&K, HP
NEW DELHI, Jan 21 — Cold- wave conditions continue to prevail in parts of Haryana, including Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. They are likely to abate during next two days. Cold wave conditions have abated from Uttar Pradesh.

NEW DELHI, Jan 21 — Cold- wave conditions continue to prevail in parts of Haryana, including Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. They are likely to abate during next two days. Cold wave conditions have abated from Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were above normal in east Rajasthan and normal in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan. Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and the remaining parts of Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. The lowest temperature in the plains was 0.4° recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of 23rd: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 23rd: Hazy sky becoming partly cloudy by tomorrow evening. Mist fog in the morning. Slight rise in minimum temperature.
