NEW DELHI, Dec 29 — Rainfall: Light rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: These were above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 3.5°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 31st: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 31: Mainly clear sky becoming partly cloudy tomorrow evening. Fog in the morning. slight rise in minimum temperature and it will be around 8 °C.
