The alleged irregularity was committed when Haryana Police officials came to the city for arresting employees protesting outside the 30 Bays Building in Sector 17 here.

Senior Haryana Police officials said three persons were taken into custody last night, while another employee was arrested today. The arrested persons include R.G. Nagpal, Deva Singh, Satish and Tilak Raj.

Meanwhile, confirming that the head constable had been placed under suspension, the Assistant Superintendent of Chandigarh Police, Mr H.G.S. Dhaliwal, when contacted, said the action was taken as the official was irregular in maintaining the register.
