COA win

LUDHIANA, Nov 11— College of Agriculture (COA) won the first league match of the PAU Inter-College Cricket Tournament, which started here today at the PAU Stadium. COA defeated College of Basic Sciences and Humanities (COBS&H) by seven wickets.

COBS&H won the toss and decided to bat first. COBS&H made 100 runs in 29 overs. COA made 105 runs in 31.2 overs and lost only three wickets.

Tennis meet

BCM School, Shastri Nagar, won the Sahodya CBSE School Lawn Tennis Tournament which concluded here on Friday. Togore Public School and BCM School, remained on the second and third position, respectively.

In the boys’ single final, Amit of BCM School beat Chetan of Tagore Public School in a one-sided match, 6-2, 6-2,. In the boys, doubles, Amit and Hemant of BCM school beat Chetan and Navnish, 6-4, 6-3.
