Cong wins 10 seats in Leh
Council
JAMMU, Nov 3 — The Indian National Congress (INC) had won 10 and the National Conference three seats in the 26-member Leh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) as the contours of the popular mandate came in this afternoon. Among the Congress winners were outgoing Chief Executive Thupstan Chheewang. Counting of the ballot papers began in Leh at 9.30 a.m., sources said.
