Work for pavement of streets begins

ludhiana, Oct 21 — The area councillor. Ms Manjit Kaur Gogi performed the land cutting ceremony to formally launch the work for pavement of streets in ward no1 in Haibowal locality in the city. Speaking on the occasion, she said that the work would be completed in about two months at a cost of Rs 10 lakh. She further assured that other pending development works of the area would be undertaken on priority basis.

Mr Kulwant Singh, executive engineer and in charge of the work, sought cooperation of the residents in early completion of the work and made an appeal to the people to bear with the authorities during the intervening period.
