Tributes
paid to Prem Nath Shastri JAMMU, Sept 20 — The Union Minister of State for Defence Production
and Supplies, Mr Harin Pathak, has said Kashmir being an integral part
of India was non-negotiable.
Speaking at a function held in connection with the birth anniversary
of Pandit Prem Nath Shastri, a renowned religious scholar and astrologer
today, Mr Pathak said India’s cultural essence and strength owed its
roots in Kashmir. He blamed obliquely Pakistan for having ruined this
culture by aiding militancy.
Dr Agnishekhar, Chairman, Panun Kashmir, paying tributes to Pandit
Prem Nath Shastri said Islamic fundamentalists had forced ethnic
cleansing in Kashmir. He contested the impression that Pandits had fled
from the valley for greener pastures.
Senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar and academicians pledged to defeat
Pakistani machinations in Kashmir. They said strengthening India’s
interest in Kashmir was the best tribute to Pandit Prem Nath Shastri. |
