Pipeline fire kills 250 in Nigeria
WARRI, Nigeria, July 11 (Reuters) — An oil products pipeline exploded in southern Nigeria, killing about 250 villagers scooping up gasoline with buckets, witnesses said today. The police sealed off the scene of yesterday’s explosion at Adeje village, outside the Niger delta oil city of Warri.

4 hacked to death
CHENNAI, July 11 (PTI) — In a daring daylight attack, four persons were hacked to death by a group at Vilathikulam bus stand in Tuticorin district today, the police said. Five others, who were injured, had been hospitalised.

30 feared drowned
HYDERABAD, July 11 (PTI) — At least 30 persons were feared drowned when a boat carrying them capsized on the swirling water of Paliperu rivulet in Khammam district.
