Officials of oil companies booked
NEW DELHI, May 30 (UNI) — The CBI has registered a case against some officials of the country’s leading oil companies and the Gujarat Sales Tax Department for causing a huge revenue loss of crores between 1997 and 2000 and some arrests are likely to be made soon. CBI sources said today the searches continued at 14 premises of the Indian Oil Corporation, Indo-Burma Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum Company Ltd, BPCC and the Gujarat Sales Tax Department till this morning.
