Thursday: Moderate to severe heatwave conditions prevailed in most parts of Punjab and Haryana including Chandigarh and in some parts of H.P. Rainfall occurred at isolated places in H.P. Weather was mainly dry in Haryana and Punjab. On Wednesday, day temperature changed little and were markedly above normal in Haryana, H.P. and Punjab. The highest temperature in the area was 44.4°C recorded at Hisar.

Forecast: Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places in H.P. Duststorm or thunderstorm with light rain is likely to occur at a few places in Haryana and Punjab.
