Monday: Cold wave conditions have abated from Punjab and Haryana, including Chandigarh. Weather was dry in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. Night temperature rose appreciably in Haryana and Punjab and rose in Himachal Pradesh. It was above normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in rest of the area. The lowest temperature in the plains was 7.8°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast: Light to moderate rain or snow likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Partly cloudy days likely in Haryana and Punjab.
