Friday: Cold wave to severl coldwave conditions prevailed in most parts of Punjab and Chandigarh. Weather remained dry in Haryana, Himachal and Punjab. Night temperatures fell in Punjab and changed little elsewhere. These were markedly below normal in Punjab, appreciably below normal in Haryana and normal in Himachal. The lowest temperature in the plains was 2.5°C recorded at Amritsar.
