Thursday: Rain or snow has occurred at most places in Himachal. Rain has occurred at most places in Punjab and at many places in Haryana. The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are : Guler 8; Nadaun and Nagrota Surian 7 each; Ghamroor 6; Nangal Dam and RL-1700 (Sutlej -Beas Catchment area) 5 each; Amritsar, Una and Sujanpur Tira 4 each; Bhuntar 3; Sundernagar, Solan, Rampur and Kahu (Shimla) 2 each and Chandigarh, Patiala, Nahan, Pandoh and Sunni 1 each. Night temperatures fell in Haryana and changed little in Punjab and HP. These were largely below normal in Punjab and Haryana and normal in Himachal. The lowest temperature in the plains was 8.5 °C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast: Moderate to rather heavy rain or snow will occur at most places in Himachal. Moderate to rather heavy rain will occur at a many places in Punjab. Light to moderate rain will occur at many places in Haryana.
