Saturday: Cold wave conditions are prevailing in most parts of Punjab and Haryana. These have abated in Chandigarh and Delhi. Weather was dry in the area.

Night temperature fell in Punjab and changed little in the rest of the area. It was markedly below normal in Punjab, below normal in Haryana and normal in Himachal Pradesh. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.6°C recorded at Amritsar.
