Government college teachers await new grades
CHANDIGARH, June 10 — Though last week the Chandigarh Administration announced that the seven private affiliated aided colleges in the city would be granted the revised University Grants Commission pay scales, the UT Government college teachers are still waiting to get their revised pay scales.

CHANDIGARH, June 10 — The Punjab Sangeet Natak Akademi today organised a 'Traditional and Contemporary Musical Programme', here — the third in the series of its revived Thursday programmes, in which folk singers of the region, Jagat Ram Lalka and Krishan Lal, were presented. The delightful sounds of traditional instruments did manage to transport the audience to a totally different era.
