Disney+Hotstar: After a successful collection at the box office, Prashanth Neel’s ‘Salaar’ is dropping on OTT. The ‘KGF’-fame director has proposed ‘Salaar’ as a two-part film series. This Telugu and Kannada film is also available in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. It revolves around a tribesman who aids his friend in becoming the undisputed ruler of Khansaar.
Einstein and the bomb
Netflix: Using Einstein’s words only — his speeches, letters and interviews — the docu-drama from BBC Studios combines archival footage with dramatisation and explores key moments in the science genius’ life, and how his works have changed the course of history. The uniquely insightful portrait has been directed by Anthony Philipson.
The Kerala Story
Zee5: This 2023 film, directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, sparked much controversy but proved to be a hit at the box office. It stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani and Siddhi Idnani. The film follows a group of women from Kerala who are manipulated into converting to Islam and joining the terror group ISIS.
