Blast near Kolkata NIA camp office Kolkata, November 10 Officials of the Bidhanagar Police Commissionerate said “initial investigation showed that around 7.30 pm two crude bombs were thrown when a car was passing by the camp office area”. A team of the state's detective agency has been rushed to the spot. A team of the state bomb experts also rushed to the spot to inspect the kind of the materials used to trigger the blast. Electronic Complex Police station officials said no casualties or injury took place. Debasish Dhar, Aditional Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate, said the police suspected that the material used could be a firecracker. “We are not taking it lightly. A police team has rushed to the spot to inquire into the nature of the explosive material,” Dhar said. — PTI
